Tomorrow’s designers and entrepreneurs need to be able to think critically and act practically; they are required to be insightful & creative and therefore well placed to meet new challenges in this era of globalization in a strategic, determined and entrepreneurial manner. IAAT is concerned with creative and innovation in the context of design and fashion education, African music and cultural heritage education, practice, technology and entrepreneurial skill training and development. It is a critically engaged community of Design practitioners, musicologist, educators, researchers and entrepreneurs. It is a school which is discipline focused, esteems high ethical character and in which using practically-proven skills is central to its training.
