This short course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of fashion design, how to formulate ideas and translate them into a visual representation. It will develop applicants’ understanding of and
proficiency in fashion sketching, production sketching, and illustration as a tool for artistic interpretation, idea development, and communication in the field of fashion design.

• Gain fashion illustration technique
• Gain knowledge of illustration from different artists
• Gain colouring techniques – markers, pencil drawing, watercolours, paint, computer rendering
• Sketch and Illustrate your designs with your own unique style using texture and learnt techniques

This course assumes no prior knowledge or special skill set. Anybody with an interest in the fashion
drawing, who can write and speak English, is welcome.
