MRS. LINDA ROBERTA KANKOH, GCOO OF GROUPE NALLEM STM, REPRESENTED GHANA AT THE AFRICAN KAIZEN ANNUAL CONFERENCE, 2018 IN SOUTH AFRICA
Mrs. Kankoh was Ghana’s representative at the just ended African Kaizen Annual Conference, 2018 in Durban, Republic of South Africa. The conference which began on the 1st July, 2018 ended on the 4th July, 2018. And, Mrs. Kankoh got selected to speak as Ghana’s rep as a result of her rich experience regarding Kaizen activities within Groupe Nallem STM, and BULLUK GHANA APPAREL to be precise.
The New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPA) Agency and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in partnership with Productivity SA under the auspices of the Pan-Africa Productivity Association (PAPA), hosted this prestigious Conference; a platform that offered all Kaizen practicing companies an opportunity to showcase or share their Kaizen activities and achievements over the years.
During the conference, there were presentations on activities for improving quality and productivity using various Kaizen Methods. Unknown to many, Kaizen is not limited to simple management methods, but it is focused on changing of peoples’ mind and way of thinking to consistently pursue higher levels of quality and productivity in both the private and public sectors.

With the vision to enhance international competitiveness of Groupe Nallem STM and its subsidiaries, Mrs. Kankoh has enduringly been promoting quality and productivity improvement, first-rate customer care and business excellence.
Mrs. Kankoh’s participation was, in no doubt, a feat that deserves approbation as her presentation impressed and educated all present, thus more than 100 of practitioners of Kaizen from Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Mrs. Kankoh was also at the Ghana women entrepreneurship summit as panel speaker on benefits of kaizen. GWES summit was organized by NBSSI with special guest speaker Nana Akuffo Addo among other high dignitaries and stakeholders.
In highlight, the objective of her participation was to share her practical experience on Kaizen activities within the Groupe Nallem STM and as well network with other participants all over Africa and collaborate to bring on board innovative approaches to Groupe Nallem STM and in a long run, Ghana as a whole.
